How to Set a Water Goal on Noom
Up until recently, you couldn’t set a Water Goal on Noom. In fact, the feature is so new that some users still can’t. Here, we’ll walk you through how to set a Water Goal on Noom and offer up an alternative solution if the built-in tool hasn’t reached you yet.
How to Track Water on Noom
Believed to be rolling out to users in stages, starting with new customers first, the Water Goal feature in Noom can be accessed from the homecreen in Noom. Scroll down to the bottom, click Track More Progress, then select Win with Water.
You’ll then be asked to enter a water goal. You should be aiming for around 3000ml/96fl oz, which is around 12 cups. Once that’s set, just open Noom, scroll down to Win with Water, then tap on a glass whenever you finish a cup during the day.
If you aren’t seeing the option to set a Water Goal on Noom, check to make sure you’re running the latest version of the application by heading into the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and checking to see if there’s an update available.
If there isn’t, you’ll want to use a standalone application to keep track of your water consumption. We recommend Plant Nannny. It’s completely free to use, letting you set reminders to drink on a customizable schedule that works for you.
One of our favorite things about Plant Nanny is how it encourages you to drink by making it into a game. You’re given some seeds when you first start the application — drink on time, and they’ll grow into a plant. Miss your schedule and it’ll start to die.
Plant Nanny progressively tracks your daily water intake, and lets you look back at daily, weekly and monthly trends, so you can see how you’re performing over time. This is useful for identifying trends, like days where you drink less or more.
