How to Delete Your Noom Account
There’s no button in the Noom App to delete your Noom account. That’s not to mean it can’t be deleted, though — it can, but it won’t be instant. You’ll need to send an email, then wait a short while for confirmation the request has been completed. It can take up to a week, but from what we’ve seen is often completed in 24 to 48 hours.
How to Delete Your Noom Account
If you’re serious about deleting your Noom account, you’ll need to send an email to gdprsupport@noom.com from the email address you used to sign up for Noom informing them that you want to delete your account and a short explanation of why (beat them to it or they’ll respond asking for some details, prolonging the process).
Use This as a Chance to Get a Discount
You’ll find that businesses often refer to their disconnection team internally as their retention team, so they’re often authorized to offer exclusive, substantial discounts or extended free trial periods, so if you’re deleting your Noom account because a subscription is too expensive, let them know and see what happens.
Our advice would be to write this into the initial email — tell them you want to delete your Noom account because the service is too expensive, and you just aren’t sure whether it’s worth the money. You never know, they might just write back offering a cut-price membership or another run of the Noom free trial.
Some users have also reported receiving substantial discounts while canceling their membership via Noom Support or their Noom Personal Coach, with one claiming to have received the Monthly Auto-Renewing Plan for as little as $20 per month. This is one of those situations where you can barter and playing hard to get works.
You Can Always Cancel Your Subscription
Remember: You don’t need to delete your Noom account to cancel your Noom subscription. Noom offers a suite of free features, including calorie and exercise tracking. However, you will lose access to the Noom Personal Coach mentoring service and all new (and existing) articles.
